Introducing the Girls Behind the Wilson Way

We are the Wilson sisters, not just sisters but the best of buds. We are just here figuring life out as we go, living our best life and laughing at ourselves while we do it.

Amy - a rookie real estate investor that enjoys travelling, going outside her comfort zone, trying to garden, creating usually tasty cocktails and playing sports that she is better than OK at.

Katelyn (or Kate as many call her) - event planner by trade, currently working in aquatics; she enjoys baking, and snacking on her baking. But also running/cycling/swimming off those calories. She also LOVES to travel and enjoys a cold beverage on a patio with a good friend or four. And also long walks on the beach, because HI she is single.

We were born and raised in Lambton County, but life has taken us on our own separate adventures, but now we are BACK. Well, we have been for a few years now. And we love it here, living life next to the sandy shores of Lake Huron.

We have a LOT in common, which is usually the norm for most sisters. Outside of the obvious growing up with the same parents and graduating from the same high school, we also both graduated from Lambton College specifically in the Sports and Recreation Administration program. Sports have basically shaped our lives. We grew up chipping golf balls on the side yard, chasing down footballs and of course catching pop flies and wiffle balls. Sports have been a huge part of our life, which means naturally we both grew into student athlete roles. We wouldn’t have it any other way. We lived in the arena playing ringette, and travelling all over Ontario while doing it. Knock on wood... neither of us have EVER broken a bone. But one thing we both HAVE done is written off one of Dad’s trucks. Bless his heart, he still let’s Amy drive one of his!

Don’t roll your eyes, we do live separate lives. We did not go to school at the same time and we have barely even played on the same sports teams. Seriously though, it’s only been in our adult, recreation, beer drinking leagues that we’ve been teammates.

We are here to share our lives with you. Our experiences, our mistakes, our questions and obviously some laughs. But more importantly, we are here to share what we have learned about life and how we continue to live our lives to the friggin’ fullest. We hope to not only inspire you to live your best life but maybe even give you the courage to be yourself and own it.

Here’s to our honest opinions, our REALest adventures and our hopefully not-so-big struggles. We might just talk about grocery shopping, budgeting, big purchases, blistered feet, reminding you to floss your teeth and probably asking you why the frig we can’t start our lawn mower...but we hope you would like to join us!
